Product history The Green Oil Bicycle Brush was born from a desire to make a truly quality brush with a traditional edge. A brush that could clean most bike parts, with a luxury feel.
The Green Oil Bicycle Brush had the rider, and the environment in mind. Rather than plastic, the Bicycle Brush has a burly wood handle. The ergonomic handle is made from sustainably sourced wood too, so when a tree is cut, another is planted. Why buy a set of brushes, when you can buy one quality Green Oil Bicycle Brush?
The Bicycle Brush is a multi use, quality brush The Green Oil Bicycle Brush has special bristles. They are strong enough for chain and sprocket cleaning, yet soft enough for anodized parts and most bicycle frames. The Bicycle Brush also has ultra long bristles for hard to reach areas, and for getting deep between those sprocket cogs. The handle can even be used to clean derailleur cogs. This replaces the need for a claw brush, chain cleaning device, tooth brush, wheel cleaning and spoke brush, with one Bicycle Brush. Chain cleaning and claw brush The unique bristles are soft when soaked in water, yet go back to their original shape when dry. The Bicycle Brush can therefore be used to vigorously scrub a bicycle chain, rinsed and dried out with the bristles returning back to their original straightness.
The bristles are uniquely long enough to penetrate every gap in most sprocket sets. The Bicycle Brush therefore also replaces the need for a claw brush. Cog spike for derailleur cog cleaning The ‘cog spike’ at the end of the Bicycle Brush handle is designed to get into the derailleur cogs to remove any built up grime or mud. The curved yet pointed cog spike makes cog cleaning easy.
Complete wheel cleaning The Bicycle Brush is shaped with wheel cleaning in mind. The bristles easily clean spokes, with the brush shape allowing the rider to get in between the spokes nicely. The ultra long bristle length makes wheel rim cleaning easy. The Bicycle Brush width matches even the beefiest tyres, to remove caked-in mud. Pure quality, designed with the rider in mind The Green Oil Bicycle Brush was designed and developed with the rider in mind. The Bicycle Brush has a nice weight to it, and a burly, yet ergonomic handle. It is the luxury Bike Brush that cyclists deserve. The Green Oil Bicycle Brush also has a traditional edge, being made entirely from natural materials in a traditional UK factory.
The prototype Bicycle Brush handle, carved out for today's rider Environmental responsibility The Green Oil Bicycle Brush is an industry first, using real wood and plant based technology instead of petrochemical plastic. As the hard wearing bristles wear out, any fragments that come off will biodegrade, unlike with plastic bristles. The print used on the brush is eco-friendly and also biodegradable. The Bicycle Brush is designed to be extremely durable, to last many years. It is so tough, that if anyone tries steal your bike you could hit them with it and the brush wouldn’t get damaged! The wood is sustianably sourced. The latest batch are made from rubber wood. Rubber has been harvested from rubber trees for many years. The rubber tree has a 5 year life cycle. At the end of this, it gets chopped down and another is planted in its place. This wood is then turned into the Green Oil Bicycle Brush and other wood products.
Directions for use: 1. Soak the long bristles in water before and during use to soften them. Price: £9.99
